We’re coming back!
As part of the 2017 World Tour of the Hebrides, Let’s Circus will be back at Tangasdale with an international cast and a show filled with comedy, acrobatics, juggling, aerial circus and spectacle. A family experience not to be missed, inside the beautiful Big Top ‘The Magpie’! Come and see ‘Good Times for Happy People‘ – including international stars from five continents including Kenya’s ‘Duo OneFace‘, the Japanese unicycling comedians ‘Witty Look‘ and the unforgettable human cartoon ‘ The Balloonatic‘. Regular faces and some new.
Not only will you get to see an amazing world-class show, but we give you the chance to learn tricks and skills from the stars of the show. Every day you can join the circus school and take part in workshops of all circus challenges from juggling to trapeze, acrobatics to tightwire. Friday and Saturday from 2-4pm.
Circus AND Games
For Sunday July 16 we team yup with Barra Games to provide a very special day for the whole family – you can expect good sportsmanship, fun and games as the Circus will be part of this very special event. Barra Games entry includes workshops with the circus but NOT entry to the evening show which will be sold separately.

Seating Arrangements
The Magpie tent is a small and intimate venue with seating for 150 people. All children are sat on the floor and everyone leaves happy. If you’ve experienced circus or street theatre at the Hebridean Celtic Festival over the years, chances are that it was us or our artists. But why should Stornoway get all of the fun? Now that’s all changed. Now, the circus is running away to join you!
Still the best circus to have ever come to Barra. OK, so we’re the only circus ever to have come to Barra… Some folk have said that we’re a little crazy bringing a circus all the way out to the one of the most remote communities in the United Kingdom, and probably, they’re right. But we loved our time in 2016, so we’re coming back – we want to leave you smiling!.
