We are very grateful to have the support of Museums Northumberland as we un pack our tent for the first time since Covid interupted our circus lives.If you visit the museum this week you may wonder if you need to check your eyesight. But don’t worry all is ok. There really is a huge black and white circus tent at the museum. It has been great to welcome our friends at Let's Circus back to Woodhorn. They are on site to do some training, so it’s not a public event, but look out you may see some impromptu performance. The last year has been pretty tough for everyone. Behind the scenes there have been artists, creatives and organisations putting in the hours to develop new skills, performances and methods of engagement that will take us all into the next chapter. We're so very grateful to receive a Cultural Recovery Fund grant. It will help us to dust off our infrastructure, support our performers to get out again and meet the challenges of creating circus and street arts within the new covid reality.
